Erm, back to this post. Remember I packed all my stuffs and leaving for Christmas and New Year holidays?
So where the heck had I been to?
Well... I had been to a few countries. Since my trip started on 23rd December, obviously my first trip is related to Christmas. Hence, my first stop was the infamous Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas Market) in Germany!
Weihnachtsmarkt in Karlsruhe
(notice the people ice-skating behind me?)
After 14 hours flight, the first thing I did at the Christmas Market at -3 Celcius was...
to grab a cup of Glühwein (mulled wine)
Glühwein, a type of sweetened red wine, combined in spices and served warm. Having a cup of Glühwein at the outdoor during minus degree of Winter is heaven! The feeling is indescribable or [enter happy word that you like here]
yum yum yum
Although the Glühwein is able to warm my body up but exposing myself to the minus degree winter is like killing me. The drastic change of 40 degree compare to my tropical country is not something that I can adjust to. Hence you see me...
Rummage, rummage, rummage..
NO! I didn't mess up the store as it was already that way when I was there. Well, that's how those stores look like during crazy Christmas sale. Oh yeah, I was there to purchase a thicker coat as my Mango white trench doesn't seem to be doing a good job for winter, so I renamed it into autumn/spring coat. LOL

me with Lutz's brother and his friend ^^
Ok, I know I know. You don't want to see my chubby face anymore. All you want to see is how Christmas Market look like right?
Here you go...
booth that sell knitted stuff
accessories
decorative items
Xmas ornaments
oh candies! yum yum
soft toys - doggies
booth that sells...erm I forgot
my fav - all girlish stuff from bath bomb to aroma therapy oil
and even Siamese Buddha statue...wtf
Funnily, these Buddha or Siamese Buddha statues are quite famous in Germany as I see some booths selling only Buddha statues and Buddhist related stuff such as those praying beads, monk figurines, etc
looks like cupcake? But actually is bath bomb, I did bought a few there
And of course when you go to Christmas Market, you must remember to mum mum there. We had some chili con carne, delicious or not?
Kindly refer to the photo below..
aaammm... even Lutz knows how to camwhore now..
No, this is not the end yet, I mean how can I visit a Christmas Market without snow right or not? However on the day before I arrived there was some rain that melt and flush all the snow away. So, no more snow =(But later Lutz brought me to another Christmas Market in between Black Forest and Karlsruhe town. (Don't ask me the name, I am bad in geography)
I risked my life for all these pictures for you.
Nice?
Erm need to stop a while to warm myself up.
I didn't stay long at the place, barely one hour as we were too cold. Shaking...
So we decided to leave.
Pictures of Lutzi's mum and I at the entrance of the Christmas Market
Some of the pictures that I took while waiting for our train
definitely not something that you will see in our forever 35C tropical country
Lutz and his mum
both are 'blau' which means blue or drunk in German
Till then, I will come up with more winter pictures soon =)
